A syllabus of techniques and forms that students must demonstrate in order to obtain a rank at Bath Aikido Society.
Kyu Grading Syllabus
Notes
The minimum required practice days for each grade is just that - a minimum. It may take longer for certain grades depending on your individual circumstances.
For each technique listed in the tachi waza and suwari waza sections of each grade, students should keep performing the techniques, alternating between left and right side, omote and ura (where applicable), then swapping to let their partner perform until the next technique is called.
You may also be asked to perform techniques from previous grades that you have already completed.
